The shock closure of a popular trampoline centre has left pre-booked birthday parties in limbo and furious parents scrambling for answers.
Jummps Indoor Trampoline Park, based in Parkwood, Gold Coast, announced on Monday that it would be entering voluntary administration.
There was no indication on ASIC’s register that liquidators had been appointed, and the company is still registered as of Tuesday.
However, the centre’s phone line has been disconnected and it is listed on Google as ‘permanently closed’.
Distraught parents were quick to express their dismay at the sudden shutdown.
One mother said she had booked a birthday party for the coming weeks but hadn’t heard from the centre since the closure announcement.
A second said: ‘They took my money only last week for a party and would have known this. If I didn’t get tagged in this post I wouldn’t have known and would have turned up with party friends – just a nightmare.’
Others expressed hopes the business would reopen under new owners.
